The Birdverse

Whitepaper for Gaggle's Economic Model

Gaggle's Objective

Gaggle Studios was founded with the purpose of creating truly "social" games by integrating communications into game design.

Enter the Birdverse

The Birdverse is a multiverse of the avian kind. Within The Birdverse exists multiple games that share a cohesive economic system and assets that expand to several use cases. The first game in the Birdverse is Goose Goose Duck.

Goose Goose Duck

Goose Goose Duck (GGD) is a social deception game empowered by integrated voice chat, advanced game mechanics, and love from it's community. Geese try to survive in various game modes while ducks are hunting them down. With existing game modes such as Classic, Classic+, Goosehunt, and Trick-or-Treat players can pick and choose from a variety of experiences.

The Birdverse is a player-owned economy where resources are earned by playing the game or by contributing to the ecosystem. These resources can be used to craft items which the players can have full ownership over. The items a player owns can be bought, sold, or traded in an open and fair market.

The majority of resources that can be acquired in GGD and other avenues linked to the Birdverse are called Materials. Materials can come from completing tasks in game, finishing quests, watching your favorite streamers, buying plushies, and more. Once Materials are assigned to an Account or Wallet, they cannot be moved.

Materials can then be used to craft NFT cosmetics that will potentially be supported and recognized in various experiences in the Birdverse and beyond.

Pond Life (Tentative Title)

The next game in the Birdverse is a casual life-style game where players can build and customize their dwellings. Similar to games like Animal Crossing or Stardew Valley, Pond Life would focus on the relaxing aspects of building, customization, and socialization.
